Automate your Mac from the menu bar.
Questions, a bug, or an automation idea? We'd love to hear from you.

We aim to respond within a few business days.
Cuebar lives in your menu bar and watches for things happening on your Mac โ your battery level, Wi-Fi network, Bluetooth devices, the time of day, and more โ then fires actions automatically: a notification, launching or quitting an app, running a Shortcuts.app shortcut, changing the volume, or switching appearance. One-click recipes set up common routines instantly, or you can build your own from scratch.
Everything runs locally on your Mac. Cuebar has no servers and no account system.

Cuebar does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not use analytics or advertising SDKs of any kind. Every automation you create โ its triggers and actions โ is stored only on your Mac.
Cuebar requests a small number of system permissions strictly to power the automations you configure:
Bluetooth โ to detect when a paired device connects or disconnects.
Wi-Fi network name โ to detect when you join or leave a specific network.
Notifications โ to show the alerts your automations create.
Apple Events (Automation) โ to change system appearance and volume, and
to run Shortcuts you've configured, as part of your automations.
None of this data ever leaves your Mac or is transmitted to us โ we have no servers to send it to.
Cuebar Pro is a one-time purchase processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment information.
Cuebar contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Cuebar is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
